Ok, my spooky friends, let’s settle this once and for all …
When does spooky season really begin?
Some of us are lighting pumpkin candles and watching horror flicks the second September hits. Others wait for that first crisp fall night, when the air smells like leaves and ripe apples. And then there are the October 1st traditionalists who won’t budge. (Halloween-week only people… you’re playing with fire. 🔥)
As for me, I go with the fall equinox around September 23rd. I like to be in season for the season, if you know what I mean.
… and I know many of us are spooky 24x7x365, which I didn’t put as an option because I’m thinking about the general population for this poll.

I think most people would say October 1. But I get why you’d say the fall equinox. I’m spooky 24 hours a day!
