What’s Happening On Ghostly Activities | August 2026
Hi Ghostlies. Hope you’re having a wonderful summer. I just wanted to give you an update on what’s been added to the blog, and what’s coming up:
Changes To Commenting
I’ve made anonymous commenting available. You don’t need to leave your name and email anymore. Simply leave a comment. I’ll have to manually approve them, so don’t worry if you see the system come back without a thank you note. I’ve also had to turn up the anti-spam filters. You can also use the contact form to send me an email. If the spam goes crazy, I’ll revert back to the previous system.
2 Phantom Car Encounters On Aurora Bridge
I updated the Aurora Bridge (Seattle) post with the 2 ghost stories I received. Phantom cars aren’t something you usually hear about on the bridge. It’s the ghost jumpers. I may need to plan an expedition with the Ghostly Club to see what’s what.
The Ghostly Activities Podcast Has New Episodes
I’ve got 3 episodes recorded, and I have a new format called, Spooky Talk. In these episodes, Merle (from Our Haunted Heritage documentaries) stops by and tells ghost stories along with other ghostly shenanigans. You can hear the first Spooky Talk episode on the pod.
Phantom Car Folklore Series
Series might not be the right term but I’ll look into the folklore and haunting tradition around phantom cars. I think I’ll 2 posts on the subject. The research is done. It just needs to get written out at this point.
Cari-BOO Con 2026
Merle and I will go to British Columbia for a paranormal conference called Cari-BOO. Once there, we’ll show our latest documentary about a time-capsule haunt. By that, I mean it’s a haunted place that’s been sealed for over 70 years … and the Our Haunted Heritage crew got to investigate it. This one has special guest investigators from a popular ghost hunting show in it.
OK, that’s what I got for you. Let me know if there’s something you’d like me to research and write for you. Just leave a comment or use the Contact form. Thanks for ready Ghostly Activities. Much appreciated and take care!
