Terry Tells A Ghost Story

Transcription:
Me, my girlfriend and her husband … we’re gonna go to Kelowna to do some apple picking. As we’re driving, we cross Merritt. There’s a rest stop on your right hand side up the hill,and my girlfriend’s husband told me a very interesting story.
He used to be a long hauler (truck driver) at one time and this is just a few years back. He’s driving to Kelowna, but he stopped at that rest stop, the one that’s on the right hand side, to use the washroom.
As he was about to go into the washrooms, three young men around 18-19-years-old, well dressed, approached him and said, ‘Do you have alcohol?’ He said, ‘No I don’t, however, I can drive you guys into town, which is Merritt, and you guys can grab some from there.’ They said, ‘Fine.’ He went into the washroom.
Shortly after he came out, they weren’t there.
He looked around for them because he’s just one of these human beings that is always willing to take that extra step to help. So he looked around, nothing, he couldn’t find them. He called out to them, nothing, he got into his truck and went on his to Kelowna.
As he’s driving, he sees this light in the rear-view mirror and side mirror. ‘It’s a big light,’ he said. At first, he thought, ‘Oh, maybe one of the truckers, his lights burnt out, that’s why there’s only one light.‘
Then, he started thinking it was weird that the light was at the same distance, it didn’t matter if he’s sped or he’s slowed down. All of a sudden, he notices the light on his side, like it was kind of hitting in his eyes, either from the left or from the right side.
After about 15-20 minutes, he actually realized something’s not right, so he started his prayers. And, after about half an hour, the light disappeared.
He got into Kewlona, and he shared the story with the other truckers. Several of the other truckers told him that they’d had the same experience. They said the story is that there were three young men. They were drunk at the time, coming back from a party, and they apparently got into a motor vehicle accident, and they passed away.
… and they’re trying to cause accidents. It’s happened to more than several people.
