Jake’s Personal Experience With A Shadow Figure

We had just finished ghost hunting around the Inn on the first night. I went upstairs to Room 7 and crawled into bed (after brushing my teeth … hygiene and all that). After doom scrolling on my phone, I rolled over and shut off the light.

But I couldn’t sleep.

I tossed. I turned. I felt oogie, like I had indigestion. My head started to throb … that’s not entirely right … it’s like someone dipped my brain in battery acid.

In the darkness, I heard a shuffling like someone scuffed their feet on the floor. It was coming from the bathroom.

I turned on the light … and saw it. In the bathroom. A shadowy human silhouette. Solid and stretched from floor to ceiling.

It turned my way. Looking right at me.

Then it walked through the bathroom wall into Room 6.

Needless to say, I hopped out of bed, flicked on the bathroom light … but nothing was there. I couldn’t find any evidence of the shadow person. No cold spots. No strange electrical responses.

But … my indigestion feeling and acid-dripped brain ooginess cleared right up.

The Shadow Figure Strikes Again!

When I first came to the Inn, I also had an encounter. Well, I should say we. We all experienced it. In Room 6, peeking out from the doorway, we captured a shadow figure. I had been rolling a dolly with my camera on it. Mike opened the door and I strolled in to the room. The shadow figure watched us from the bathroom.

And the bathroom in Room 6 shares the same wall as the bathroom in Room 7.

Maybe that ghostly visitor wanted to say “Hi” on this visit? I don’t know about that but it’s something that kept me up for the rest of the night.
