Ghostly Activities Heads To The Washington State History Museum
Our little ghost club likes to do things, and history is one of our biggest hobbies. After all, how can you go looking for ghosts and haunted places if you don’t know the how and why they’re haunted? Rhetorical question, of course. In mid-November, the club went to Tacoma to check out an event on museum oddities. See the pics and videos after the jump.
Inside The Washington State History Museum
We went to see a lecture on weird things in different museums across the state. It included items inside the Washington State History Museum (WSHM) and smaller, local ones. There’s only one haunted object at the WSHM, a doll, that’s said to disappear and reappear throughout the building.
Our lecturer, Harriet Baskas, is a former NPR reporter that covered weird stuff. You might know her. Anyway, she works for UW (University of Washington) now.
Museum Picture & Video Gallery
After the lecture, we got to tour the exhibits with some wine in tow. Not much more to say about it. Great time. Great exhibits. So much history to take in, so here’s some pics and videos for you.
The museum also has some exhibits that make you feel like the past. And trains. I love the trains.
If you’ve been to the WSHM, what’s your favorite exhibit? Let me know in the comments below.
Thanks for stopping by and reading Ghostly Activities. Much appreciated. Take care!
