A Spooky Trip to New Orleans

A Spooky Trip to New Orleans

January 2, 2025 Jacob Rice Comments 0 Comment

Ghostly Activities member, Amy, went to New Orleans for the holidays, and she found some spookiness to explore. Get the ghostly shenanigans after the jump.

Spooky Tours

While in the New Orleans area, Amy had a chance to take in some ghostly tours as well as a few cocktails.

Oak Alley Plantation Visit

First, she swung by Oak Alley Plantation in Vacherie, Louisiana. It’s about 45 minutes outside New Orleans, and it has a lot of dark history. The plantation museum doesn’t shy away from its horrid past.

Plantation Investigation On The Downlow

While touring the plantation, Amy was able to record some ghostly activity. Now, the museum doesn’t really allow pictures or video, but when you got (potential) ghosts wanting to communicate, you communicate.

Check out the videos for more:

New Orleans Spooky Adventures

After the plantation, it was off to New Orleans. That means some nightlife and ghost tours!

Of course, she had to see what spirits may be roaming the streets of the city. Let’s take a look at her adventures.

TRIVIA: Lafitte’s Bar is the oldest standing bar in the USA, AND the Hurricane (beverage) was first made there.

Ghost Hunting Videos

While that was Amy’s fun, spooky trip, she provided all the words generated by Ghost Box. Here they are so you can cross-reference with the activity she captured.

That was her trip in a nutshell. I’m happy she shared her adventures with us. It makes me want to book a trip to New Orleans. I have an interview with her for even more context. It’s on my audio editor right now, and I hope to upload it to this post soon.

If you’ve had a spooky encounter in New Orleans, let us know about it in the comments below.

Thanks for reading, watching and listening to Ghostly Activities. Much appreciated. Happy New Year and take care!
