“The Portal Sessions” Uses Paranormal Tech To Find Missing Persons
Paranormal Web Series Background
In the 4-part series, Ghostly Activities’ Jacob Rice uses paranormal technology to see if he can find 4 people reported missing from his property lot.
Beginning in 2022, Rice noticed haunting-like activity in his home and found evidence of drug use and homeless encampments when cleaning a backfield. He contacted public service records to get police reports and learned about its recent dark history.
His property had been vacant for 5 years before his home was built, and transients had taken over the lot. Violence, drug use, arson and a theft ring operated from it. Finally, the county stepped in and seized the lot, evicting the criminal element.
But the police reports showed 4 named people had gone missing from the lot.
Each episode of “The Portal Sessions” focuses on Rice using paranormal technology to reach one of the missing persons. The four episode titles are:
- Rachel
- Jerry
- Stacy
- Michael
No one knows what happened to them. These people could be alive or dead. The sessions will see if we can find their final fates.
Ghost Hunting Methodology
Due to the need to find evidence as quickly as possible, Rice will use various ITC (instrumental transcommunication) devices for real-time feedback. The J Portal and Ovilus 5 will be used for this approach.
Once that research is done, Rice will use traditional EVP work using audio recorders. Live listening will be the preferred method to gather paranormal evidence. There will be other audio recorders placed around the house to see if they can capture ghost voices.
In addition, engagement technology, motion detectors, and environmental scanners will detect anomalies in and around the area Rice conducts the sessions.
Afterwards, Rice will analyze the data to see if he can put together the clues to find out what happened to each episode’s focus.
