Hi gang!

So … I’m sure you all realize that I review shows and gadgets, but I also have reviewed books. Actually, I’m going to expand the reviews to a lot of different media. You’ll start to see different reviews with a Spooky Media category and the specific type of media, like books, podcasts, YouTube video, movie, TV show, and whatever else type of media I run across.

I mean, there’s so much out there, but is it any good? Hmmmmm … maybe I meant to say something more like “will you learn anything about ghosts, hauntings, and investigations from it?”

Overall, I’ll focus on non-fiction like haunted history, dark folklore, true ghost stories, ghost hunting, and documentaries, but I’ll have some horror comics and other fiction in the mix. And I’ll review them like the real-life ghost hunter that I am. As for timing, I’ll sprinkle them in as I finish them: I wouldn’t say it’s a weekly or bi-weekly thing. It depends on when I get a chance to watch, listen or read them. And, of course, I will spend my own money, so there’s no expectation of a positive review for any of the creators.

For the first set of reviews, these are the media I’ll critically judge (I kid … maybe not):

Spooky Book Review: “BuzzFeed Unsolved Supernatural: 101 True Tales of Hauntings, Demons, and the Paranormal.” By the way, book reviews will include audiobooks.

Spooky Podcast Review: “Haunted Road with Amy Bruni“
